The All Year Long Christmas Cork Wreath - Burlap

The Christmas season is the best time of year to sit down and get those crafty fingers moving. What we love about our crafts is that you don't have to be Martha Stewart (no shade) to do them. They are simple, inexpensive and to the point! We actually bought most of the supplies from our local Dollar Tree. Our goal is for you to not break the bank, while exploring our recipes, crafts, and events. Special thanks to our guest crafter, Margaret, for creating the beautiful wreath. 

We are calling it the all year long Christmas wreath because it's classic look allows it to be enjoyed in the home all year long. Incorporate the wreath in a bridal shower or wedding design.

Supplies
 
Burlap Ribbon with Lace Overlay - Dollar Tree
We Bought 3 Rolls
 1 bag mini pine cones - Dollar Tree
1 clear bag of crafting jewels - Dollar Tree
An artificial flower - Dollar Tree
Wine corks - We used 32 corks
Use corks from your quarantine stash, a craft store, or Amazon sells used wine corks
 

FloraCraft Foam Floral Wreath (White)
We used a small 1.5inch x 7.8inch (go bigger if desired)
 Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
Scissors  
 
How To 
 
Wrap the FloraCraft Wreath with the burlap ribbon, using an overlapping method. 
Use the hot glue gun as you wrap, to keep the ribbon secure. Remember to save a piece of fabric to create a wreath handle.

 Next, glue the corks along the wreath in a double row.

 The 3rd step is to glue your crafting crystals around the entire wreath. Closely to the corks
 
Next add your pine cones
 

 Add a white flower to the design to keep it neutral and clean. Secure it with super glue. 
(Change out the flower throughout the year for different looks)
 

 Lastly, flip the wreath around and glue the piece of burlap you saved to create a handle, as shown in the photo. 

 And you're done! Look how lovely it looks on the door. So pretty!
