Red Wine Hot Chocolate

Today we went live on Facebook, 2 sisters in St. Louis and 1 sister in California, and we made red wine hot chocolate. We grabbed the recipe from Traveling Vineyard and we wanted to taste test. Niambi in California followed the recipe exactly and Ayanna & Aisha used a variation. Ayanna and Aisha didn't have the heavy cream on hand, so they used sweet condensed milk. We learned that the sweet condensed milk made the hot chocolate thicker and very sweet. We suggest you follow the exact recipe but you can use any dry red wine. Niambi used Rayado Cabernet Sauvignon and Ayanna and Aisha used Bailando Superior Malbec. To watch the live video, go to our Facebook Page.
