A beautiful fall evening on the patio with friends, quenching your thirst with carefully selected wines, decor and food, will definitely be a fun night. Our first featured wine party, submitted by Myra from Illinois, shows she has impeccable style and knows how to throw the perfect wine gathering. 

Theme: Wine on the Patio

Venue: Her home

Time: Early evening before sunset 

Colors: Orange & Purple

Decor: Fresh fall flowers, candles and tiki torches

Food: Chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, corn, and baked apples

Wine: Each friend brings a bottle to share

What makes it unique: Myra featured Minute To Win It game challenges throughout the party and Hot Topic questions. She also asked each of her guests to bring socks to donate to a local shelter.

Party Favors - Barefoot Wine wrapped in tulle 2 of The Ladies on a Vine recently went to a baby shower of our good friend having twin girls. We knew it was going to be fabulous, her family always throws creative and festive parties. The theme was Candyland and everything looked so cute and perfect! As we walked in, we immediately noticed they incorporated wine into the theme. Serving liquor at baby showers has become quite popular. Baby showers are not your old fashioned living room parties with punch and sandwiches, they are carefully thought of productions that can become lavish! Don't feel pressured to serve liquor at the baby shower if you are the planner or the expected mother.
