Wild Wild West Wine Party

What - Western Theme Wine Party
Attire - Western
Food - Buffet Style

This blog post will explain how to incorporate wine into a “Western Theme” party.  The 3 Ladies on a Vine, and friends were invited to a cute and unexpected local vineyard and winery, called Boenker Hill. We never knew this particular vineyard and winery were so close to us. As we drove up the hill, the owner greeted us and even helped find the perfect spot, for the car. We could smell the campfire burning as we walked up to the quaint red barn. We could see the field of vineyards, plenty of seating, music and of course wine tastings!  What a great idea, for friends to experience a Western style wine and food experience.

Party Set -Up
While the food was being prepared and /or set up,  guests enjoyed wine tastings, live music, photos, raffles, good conversation, and of course a bottle of wine, that we opened and shared with friends. The theme incorporated succulent foods like, fried Catfish, Baked chicken, green beans, several salads, rolls, baked beans, and many more Western favorites! Buffet style was the best way to go for this themed party.

 Party Attire
Guests wore cowboy hats, boots, handkerchiefs, jeans and big belt buckles.  It was a nice touch for this party. You can also add a twist to the party, and have best dressed, biggest hat, and best boot contest and guests can win prizes.
