Wine & Paint Rewind & Winejito Recipe
Wow, what a week of uncertainty, confusion, fear, and stress with the global pandemic. Honestly, we didn't know what to do or if the event should continue. We all pushed through and it was a well needed distraction! There was not one empty seat even in the rain... all of us needed the community comradery.
First, we would like to give a big THANK YOU to the Amigas Social Club for allowing us to be apart of such a positive and fun event. We will continue to support the club and hope to partner on more events in the future.
The night began with bites to nibble on from the Alta Baja Market. What a colorful spread, perfect for a night of painting. The spread had all the colors in the rainbow.
The ladies got to grab food, socialize, and meet new Amigas before the painting began.
Next was the most important part, the wine! I mean how can you create without sipping! Luis from Riboli Family Wines set up a wine tasting with two selections from San Antonio Winery. The tasting included the Bodega Sangria and L.A. Cetto Chenin Blanc.
Now what we were excited about... the samples were poured in our glasses with our brand new logo! They looked so good on the table!
Next Niambi of 3 Ladies gave a drink demo. She taught the ladies how to make a Winejito. It tastes just like a Mojito without the hard liquor! After the demo, samples were passed out. The ladies loved the cocktail! It was "on point."

It was now time to paint with Sip and Pinta. She instructed the ladies on how to paint the famous artist Frida.
The ladies were really excited to let their inner Frida out. It was funny, she said kept telling the ladies to SIP to get creative.
What a wonderful night. It was 2 1/2 hours to be creative, smile, laugh, socialize, eat, sip, and forget about what was happening outside.
