Mother's Day, the 2nd Sunday in May where moms from around the world are celebrated for their endless love and selfless dedication for their family. Moms consistently sacrifice so much for their children, they often forget to take care of themselves. That is why Mother's Day is so important to honor your mother or any woman whose made a difference in your life. We've never gotten too personal on our blog, but all three of us have lost our moms. Mother's Day is bittersweet, being that two of us are Mother's and we want to celebrate being a mom for our own children; but we also miss our moms. Cinco De Mayo has become very popular and is now celebrated all over the world. You may ask why do we celebrate Cinco De Mayo? The day is observed to commemorate the Mexican's Army victory over the French Empire on May 5, 1862; but as we all know with any holiday, it starts to become more about the fun, food, and liquor! We need any excuse to celebrate and enjoy tasty cuisine and cocktails, and Mexican food is the best food especially when you're drinking.  We created two Cinco De Mayo favorites that do not include tequila. Although tequila is the traditional Mexican spirit, it can be too harsh on the stomach, and we still have to go to work the next day. Don't worry these cocktails still have excellent flavor and taste close to the originals.
